As A Battalion Chief in the NYC Fire Dept I have seen first hand the temporary repairs that have been made recently, to restore power to a Con Ed customer. There is no longer a command structure when operating at an incident with Con Ed. Hopefully nothing tragic happens to a family or home owner by a tempoary repair all for the sake of trying to prove a point. Question? Do all of the managers driving and operating Con Ed vehicles have CDL licsenses? If not and they are involved in an accident and do not a CDL, could this be a big problem for Con ED.
